Instructions
SRS – Use the link to the right, and install SRS Radio. Instructions for SRS install can be found here. Standalone Radio Service (SRS) is used by JTF-1 for all communication in game. You do not need to install/deploy the SRS Server, just the loca client.
OvGME – Next you’ll need to install and configure OvGME, a mod download and application tool. See the VMA-231 guide for complete install and configuration instructions if no one from the 55th is available to assist.
JTF-1 Mod Pack – Using OvGME you’ll connect to the JTF-1 repository, this will download and install the livery files, additional mod’s and other features used by JTF-1. All of these pass authentication checks from ED and will not break your game for use outside of JTF-1.
Server Test – Once you have completed the above steps, you’ll need to log into DCS and head to multiplayer. Locate the JTF-1 Servers (type JTF into search) and see if the system reports you have the pre-requisite’s to join the server. If you can you are ready for your check ride. If not, you’ve not done the above steps correctly. Get with your IP or consult the VMA-231 guide.
